At Joint Effort Studios we are keen advocates of collaboration and the sharing of our collective experience. Commissioned by video artist Tal Rosner, and violinist Jenifer Koh, we created a promotional film that explores the duo’s latest artistic collaboration through beautifully captured portrait interviews combined with location footage.
One of our biggest projects to date, this multi-venue, multi-track conference required a versatile mix of approaches and equipment to deliver videos of speakers and workshops as well as an exhilarating highlight film from a showcase event and workshops.

Working with the international research group vConect, we operated cameras live streaming to remote locations a Roderick Chadwick disklavier performance and produced a promotional video to engage further audiences.
Andy enjoys working with a wide range of media, specialising in cinematography, editing, motion graphics and interactive design. He has worked in the industry for over 10 years with various projects including web development, photography and live sound engineering. Currently, he works as a technologist at Makernow and tutors part-time at Falmouth University after graduating BA (Hons) Digital Media. He loves coding, photography and microcontrollers.
Josh works with everything camera-oriented, including editing, camera operating and has often worked as the Director of Photography on various shorts. Having chosen to specialise in cinematography, practically and theoretically, Josh is proficient in a wide range of cinematic techniques. Recently graduated from Falmouth University with a BA (Hons) in Film Studies, he thoroughly enjoys working with clients and researching for briefs.
Dan specialises as a Sound Designer and Location Recordist, with his skills extending to editing, cinematography and communication design. After discovering his passion for film over five years ago, Dan is currently working towards a BA (Hons) in Film Studies at Falmouth University. Recently, he has also created successful short films with Top Hat Productions and has valued working with a range of people. Outside of work he loves gaming, drawing and screenwriting.
